I know, I know, It's all orange-y and black-ish. But I didn't purposely set out to create a Halloween inspired colorway.
This colorway is actually Dean Winchester inspired. I call it Like A Dean Outta Hell.
Think inky black demon eyes and hell fire, not candy corn and sugar crazed children.
I only dyed 1 skein and then used that entire skein to knit this scarf.
It is 6x56 inches of soft warmness.
The yarn is 100% Merino superwash wool in bulky weight. This will keep you warm when Frost Giants try once again to take over Earth.
Want to knit your own gorram scarf?
Materials:
8oz/215(ish)yrds of bulky weight yarn (more if you want it longer than 56 inches)
10.5 straight needles
Pattern:
dbl dec = Double decrease: sl next 2 sts as if to knit, k1, pass 2 sl sts over.
dbl inc = Double increase: (k1, yo, k1) into st.
Cast on 27 sts
Row 1 (RS): K1, k2tog, * k4, dbl inc, k4, dbl dec; rep from * to last 3 sts, ssk, k1.
Row 2: Purl
Repeat Rows 1 and 2 until desired length is reached. Bind off & weave in ends.
This pattern creates a chevron design.

Doesn't my daughter looking fucking impressed to be wearing a warm thick scarf in the middle of summer? The kids hate putting on things I need pics of . But that's why knitters have kids right? lol.
